• Text: Elementary Numerical Analysis by Atkinson & Han 3rd edition ISBN: 0-471-43337-3
• Programing: The programming tool that will be used is SciLab. It a free program that runs on Linux and Windows. It can be used in similar ways as MatLab which is not free. MatLab is available in some labs on campus (engineering labs). SciLab's programming language is somewhat similar to MatLab. (The text has illustrations using MatLab. I have rewritten some in SciLab)
• CAS: Also used will be Sage Math which on Dordt's Campus can be accessed at https://sage.dordt.edu/
